Charles KentOwner, Marianna Chapel Funeral HomeMr. Kent is a licensed funeral director and embalmer in the State of Florida and Alabama and has over 30 years experience owning and managing funeral homes. He established a chain of funeral homes and cemeteries in the Southeast which became the dominant player in their market. Mr. Kent sold his chain to Carriage Services, Inc. in the late 1990s and subsequently purchased Marianna Chapel Funeral Home in Marianna, Florida, which he operates today. He is also the founder and COO of Kent Care, LLC; a funeral home acquisitions company that is currently acquiring funeral homes throughout the southeastern United States. Mr. Kent is recognized in the funeral home industry as one of the top professionals in his field. He was born in Panama City, Florida where he grew up. Mr. Kent is a 1978 graduate of Gupton-Jones School of Mortuary Science in Atlanta, Georgia. Charles is an active civic leader and has served on the Board of Directors and as Chairman of the Jackson County Chamber of Commerce. He is also a past officer and Paul Harris Fellow of Rotary International and is a board member and officer of the American Cancer Society. |
