Harold DonaldsonMr. Donaldson was born and raised in DeFuniak Springs. He graduated from Chipola Junior College, and after receiving a Bachelor's Degree from Troy State University, he spent one year teaching and coaching middle school. He then took a job at Citizens State Bank in Marianna, Florida, where he worked for 23 years, eventually becoming Executive Vice President. Mr. Donaldson left that position in 1986 to become President and CEO of First Federal Savings and Loan, which later became Regions Bank. He was there for 18 years. After a brief retirement, Mr. Donaldson joined First Capital Bank in 2005 as Vice President of Business Development. He later served as President and CEO from June of 2006 to August 2009. His retirement from First Capital Bank ended his 45 year career in banking. Mr. Donaldson is also very active in the community. He has served on the Board of Trustees of Jackson Hospital Foundation, the Board of the Industrial/Airport Authority of the City of Marianna, and Board of Trustees of Chipola College. He is an active member of the First Baptist Church of Marianna. |
